Man arrested as part of investigation into frozen food firm

More than 30 tons of products have been seized as an investigation into a company selling frozen food with suspected fraudulent labels continues. The Food Standards Agency’s (FSA) National Food Crime Unit operation led to the arrest of one man. He was later released under investigation and enquiries

Australian agency denies horse meat claims

Authorities in an Australian state have rejected claims made in a TV program that horse meat has been detected in food. The New South Wales (NSW) Food Authority said it has not found horse meat in beef, lamb or any food for human consumption. Comments were made by NSW Greens
