English E. coli infections steady despite fewer outbreaks
The number of E. coli O157 cases has remained stable but non-O157 infections went up in England in 2025 compared to the year before. Figures published by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) also revealed a small outbreak caused by a strain of E. coli responsible for major incidents
