China records spike in mushroom poisoning cases with more than 2,100 patients reported
China has reported a significant rise in mushroom poisonings and the number of people sick in them in 2025 compared to the year before. Poisoning incidents and patients reached a six-year high but the number of fatalities was the lowest over that period. The lower number of deaths can
